Medical Health Alert - Dogs and Cats

Spring has sprung, and pollens are in the air!

Not only do humans suffer from seasonal allergies, but so can our pets - and sometimes with life-threatening results.

Seasonal allergies can be very dangerous to cats who suddenly develop or already have asthma. You will notice wheezing, difficulty breathing, and/or breathing quickly. If you see any of these signs -come see us immediately. They can be life threatening!

Dogs with allergies will exhibit serious skin itch, paw redness, and ear infections. These are painful and do need to be treated quickly.

Prevention is always ideal - we can help you put your summer plan in to place, and talk about symptom management and treatment options.

Here's to a happy and healthy Spring!
