Our priority is to help your pet live a long, healthy, and happy life. Our wellness visits are designed to serve your pet’s needs from puppy or kitten-hood right through his or her geriatric years. We will perform a nose-to-tail examination, spending time with you in order to answer any questions you may have, and to provide your pet with care tailored for his or her specific needs.

 

At Sunrise Veterinary Clinic, we understand that not all pets carry the same risk for disease and parasite transmission. We will listen to you to understand your pet’s particular lifestyle and together we will choose a vaccination and parasite control plan dependent upon their specific risk factors.

 

As much as we’d like to believe we know everything our pets are thinking and feeling, we don’t. That’s why it’s so important to conduct regular check-ups, and to run regular lab work. For every 7 seemingly healthy adult pets, one will have abnormalities on their lab work that requires treatment or further investigation. In senior pets, it’s 1 in 5, and in geriatric pets, 2 in 5. Not only does early detection improve our chances of helping your pet, but it’s also much more cost effective to discover and treat sickness early.
